Google supports iCal through Calaboration! Hurray!
After using some obscure workarounds, Google has released Calaboration. A nice tool to sync your google calendars to iCal. Setting up is a breeze and have yet to find issues ( using it for a couple of hours, so did not have much time to screw up right? ).
